I recently posted about how thankful I am for so much in my life. My year has been very blessed, and I am looking forward to see what 2010 brings!
I will no longer be booking sessions until mid-January of 2010. I will be taking this time to not only spend time with my family, but to tie up loose ends with my photography business. Exceptions are time-sensitive maternity and newborn sessions. If you would like to book a maternity or newborn session, please contact me as soon as possible to schedule a date.
I will continue to post here with random things. Make sure you keep checking back as there will be new things to come in the new year that I am very excited to share with you! Savannah has been great to me, and I want to be good to Savannah!
I leave you today with some favorites of my Christmas tree. I had to photograph my absolute favorite ornament, and that would be the spider on top.
It was my second year of teaching, and I had a wonderful group of Kindergarteners. One student, for show and tell, brought in a spider…however, I didn’t know he had a spider. When I saw it, I started screaming and crying. Yes….you could say I have a slight fear of spiders. I wouldn’t normally show such vulnerability to my students, but this spider caught me quite by surprise.
Well, Christmas came along and as I was opening my various presents from my students, one boy handed me a little box with a nice big grin on his face. Hmmmm….what was he up to? Inside that box was this spider ornament. He wanted me to have a spider that wouldn’t make me cry, one that would remind me how nice spiders are. When I saw that spider, I couldn’t help but cry…but this time it was happiness tears as I couldn’t believe how sweet this boy was.
I hope this post finds you well, and gearing up for a wonderful holiday season.
