Real Love | Inspiration Through Art Photographer

“One word frees us from all the weight and pain in life.
That word is love.”

I love meeting families where the love is so obvious, it makes you wonder if they even realize how obvious it is to the rest of us in their presence. I knew this family through Facebook, they are fellow photographers in Statesboro, GA. Even though we had never met, we had formed a Facebook friendship.

Casey knew I was a photographer for Inspiration Through Art, so she contacted me and asked if I could photograph her son Tucker and the rest of the family the next time I was in Savannah. Well, of course, and as fate would have it, I was scheduled for a trip the next week!

I loved meeting Jason and Casey, Tucker and Dylan for a session at Forsyth Park. Like I said, the love they had for one another was apparent as soon as I met them.

Tucker was born with MPS II, or Hunter Syndrome. Right now there is no cure for MPS, and with it being so rare, making people aware is so important. The Hurst family is currently raising money so they can attend the National Conference this year. Please consider helping out, even a little!

Now….without further adieu, Jason, Casey, Tucker and Dylan!

Wow this was a powerful set of images Brit.

I am a new dad myself so it is really touching to see what you were able to capture with your lens.

Just out of curiosity, do you use photoshop to edit or touch up your images? Everything just looks so perfectly lit.

  • Thanks! I do use Photoshop….usually just to touch up, but sometimes to play around, try new things! But the lighting is all in camera.
