That I have been approved as a photographer for The Gold Hope Project!
As many of you know, children are near and dear to my heart for many reasons. After leaving my job as a teacher to stay home with my daughter, I looked forward to those kids sessions to give me my “kid fix”.
The Gold Hope Project was created so that every family, fighting alongside their child who is fighting or has fought cancer would be able to have pictures together and of their amazingly strong fighter.
TGHP allows me to share my love of photography and help children who need it most. I may not be able to “fix” them, but I sure can do everything I can to make their memories last forever.
So what am I telling you for?
So YOU can help me find those fighters. I hope that I NEVER get a phone call or email asking me to do this session…maybe that would mean there are no kids that need my services.
But considering about 10,400 children under the age of 15 were diagnosed with cancer in 2007, the need is there.
Help me find those families.
If you know of a family, anywhere between Milwaukee and Chicago,
let me know,
send them to TGHP website,
send me an email.
If you know of a family anywhere else, TGHP will find them a photographer too.
