So Glad You Could Stop By!

Welcome to Britt Anderson Photography! I am so happy you came by to see what I am all about. I have loved art and creating for as long as I can remember. After the birth of my daughter (yes, that is her gorgeous mug to the right!) the last two years have been spent studying and learning all I could about photography, as it has opened up a new art form for me to love and embrace. I want to be able to share that love with you as I capture those precious moments and create lifelong memories for you.

I am located in southeastern Wisconsin in Kenosha County, however I am available for sessions in northeastern Illinois as well, including Lake and McHenry Counties. If you are interested in scheduling a session, please contact me at contact@brittandersonphotography.com or 262.308.8118.

Stop by often for sneak peaks of my latest sessions, and get a jump on any specials I have currently available!

Welcome to the World!

Welcome to the World!

I was recently commissioned by a fellow photographer to photograph her brand new nephew. She lived too far away to be able to photograph H herself, so I was lucky enough to do it.

I am one lucky photographer. Not only do I get to take pictures of these wonderful babies…I have been blessed never to have been peed on! I realize I just jinxed myself here, but I just had to say it!

Here are a couple for a sneak peek! Can’t wait to finish these up.

Trip to Savannah, GA

Since the Andersons will be making the move to Savannah, GA this summer, it was about time Annika and I went for a visit! Brian showed us around, checking out the historic district as well as Tybee Island and the gorgeous beach! It really got us excited to make Savannah our new home.

Weekend Excursion

Annika and I spent some time at Mitchell Park Conservatory in Milwaukee, WI. We were tired of the cold, drab winter weather…we needed some warmth and plant life. So here are some shots from our trip. Boy how I wish macros were money makers…I love em!

Miss Savannah is Six Months Old!

If you look for my previous post for Savannah, you will see she is growing so fast! Miss Savannah is six months old and is just so darling. I don’t know if I have ever had such a smiley baby before. We are still wondering if she will be getting Daddy’s red hair!

I’m Back!

I was so lucky to be able to spend some quality time off with my family for the holidays, I am back to photographing some beauties. I will be catching up with a few posts and hope to keep blogging as the year goes on.

A lot of the holiday time was spent making some major decisions for my family. My husband was given an incredible opportunity within his company. Problem was, it takes us to Savannah, GA. After much discussion, we decided to go for it. So, with him in Ga, and me back here in WI, we are planning our move permanently for this summer.

So that means my photography journey will start over somewhere new. I am so excited for this opportunity. I am looking forward to new experiences in beautiful, historic Savannah.

The Gannaway Family

The Gannaway’s were visiting family in town, and were looking forward to getting some good family pictures with their newest addition, Evalyn. Like most mommy’s, Sara was worried Eva would be fussy, but she was just wonderful!

Here is a sneak peek!

The Pagni Clan

I had the pleasure of photographing the Pagni family recently. Kara and I went to school together, and now work together. I also was lucky enough to be one of Jacob’s teachers last year!

The Griggs Family

Here is the female dominated Griggs Family! I was introduced to this family through the Littlest Heroes Project. While Isabella was my focus for the shoot, we had to do some family shots and a few with her sisters. The beach seems to be becoming one of my favorite places to shoot.

A Visit from Colorado

The Weidmans were in from Colorado to visit family, and wanted some family portraits done now that they have a beautiful new addition to their family! Here are a couple sneak peeks! I really enjoy these beach shots…who knew you could get them in Illinois?
