Yes, we are entering week 3 technically, but I was a bit busy this past weekend mailing out my final client order for the holiday!!!
Go me….woo hoo.
So a little late, but here is our Week TWO adventures with Elfie!
First, I want to thank everyone for their support of Britt Anderson Photography as I made this transition from Savannah to Chicago.
It has been a crazy year, many changes, but I have been blessed with a fantastic client base back in Savannah, and am looking forward to continuing to build my client base here in Chicago.
Holiday sessions are officially completed!
While I will still be taking on any new sessions needed this month, if you are in need for portraits for holiday gifts or cards, I am unfortunately unable to accommodate any new clients at this time.
I am looking forward to doing some fun snow sessions this winter, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you are up for an adventurous snowy session!
Second, you will probably start seeing some more personal posts in the coming weeks. With the holidays, our family has taken on the Elf on the Shelf tradition!
Annika has named our Elf, Elfie.
Yes, her stuffed dog is named Puppy, her stuffed pig is named Piggy, her stuffed wolf is named Wolfie and her stuffed lamb is named Lambie.

So here are our first week adventures with Elfie!
One of the top reasons clients are looking for holiday portraits is so they can have a picture to send out with their holiday card.
And why not? You can show off that gorgeous family to friends and family members!
Well, one option has been to purchase your cards directly from me.
But now, there is another option for you!
Britt Anderson Photography has partnered up with Tiny Prints this year to help with the ordering and printing of your holiday cards.
Tiny Prints is one of the leading retailers of customized photo cards, whether it is for the holidays, a baby announcement, or a save the date. They provide a high quality product and fantastic customer service.
To start your order with Tiny Prints, please click on the image below which will lead you to Britt Anderson Photography’s storefront. From here, you can shop for any product on the Tiny Prints site.
If you have already purchased a digital file from me, you are free to upload that image directly to Tiny Prints to design and order your cards.
Your other option is to utilize our escrow system. This system is a way for us to release the images directly to your Tiny Prints account to order a card. It will include a small attribution for our studio on the back of the card, which is part of this free file service. You will not have access to the original image file as part of this system, but will be able to use it on the card of your choice.
When you are ready to order, please let me know and I will upload your chosen photo(s) into the Tiny Prints Escrow system. We will then send you a unique code for each image, which you can use in the creation process in the “add a photo” stage to retrieve that image into your personal Tiny Prints account. Once you have retrieved the image, you can use it on any card for up to 30 days. Your card will be printed with the high resolution version of the photo, but you will not have access to that file.
It was a little chilly on this October day for this session at Independence Grove in Libertyville. But I just call that an excuse to bring out the cute scarves and awesome coats!
Luckily, these kids were ready with a smile even in the cold.
The entire family was just gorgeous, so it would have been impossible NOT to get a great picture.

This session was done a few weeks ago (bad blogger!), but I have been bogged down with holiday portrait deadlines! Now that those are winding down, I have time to go back to some of these great images from our model session in September.
We started out at the Caplan’s house, then ventured into downtown Lake Forest, IL for some more with an urban feel.
Stephanie was great, she even suggested the ones on the wall, this girl was not afraid to go climbing!!!
