I am SO excited to announce my new venture….

I will still be working with all those adorable kiddos, fun families and loving couples….but I needed a separate place for seniors to go, to get the information specific to them.

So, Britt Anderson Seniors was born.

Time for Some Snow Sessions!

Finally…it has been what Annika has been WAITING for….snow.

Funny, as soon as the snow came (along with the obvious cold), she decided she wanted to go back to Savannah….apparently she thought we were on vacation and was wondering if we could move back now. Sorry kid!

But she quickly changed her tune when she bundled up and headed out to make snow angels, snow forts, snowballs to throw at mom….

However, this was a quick snow session while we went on a hike through the woods…all for the low, low price of the latest Smurf movie. (Her modeling demands are going up!)

In the end, it was worth it, don’t you agree?

From Britt Anderson Photography, I wish you the BEST in 2012.

As I take this winter season to gear up for the upcoming rush of all the children, families, seniors and couples I will photograph in the next year, I will be doing some retooling and revamping. So make sure you are checking back for all the greatest updates. My “baby” should be debuting in the next month or so, I can’t wait!

In order to keep my creative juices flowing, I am working on a personal project. As much as I love creating portraits for others, there are times I just need to feed my creative soul and photograph for myself. So I started the eighty-five of eighty-five project. I will be photographing for 85 straight days using my 85mm lens. It is my favorite lens, so this should be easy….the 85 days straight will be difficult, but I am determined to do it!

Please check out my eighty-five of eighty-five website…hopefully there will be some cool images for you to check out, perhaps a laugh or two at my expense….should be good times for all.

Our Last Days with Elfie!

Elf on the Shelf was a great tradition to start with Annika…I wish I had known of it sooner!
Annika really enjoyed seeing where Elfie would spring up next.

As I posted these to my personal facebook page, I had several friends “jokingly” point out this website about over achieving elf mommies. I had to laugh, because really…I would have punched myself too!

So here we are, our final three days with Elfie. He is now safe and sound, back in his box waiting for next year so his magic can return.
