That’s right, the holiday season is still coming, but for Britt Anderson Photography, it is all done!

Sessions for holiday portraits are over, and all orders needed for holiday delivery MUST be placed
and paid for by Monday, December 10th.

After that date, I cannot guarantee holiday delivery….
and you know you want those portraits to give to family members…they make great gifts!

But that doesn’t mean I am done taking appointments!
Maternity and newborn sessions are big during the winter (what the heck was everyone doing 9 months ago???),
so feel free to contact me about those.

For those brave souls who would love a winter themed session, and can handle the cold,
I of course would love to photograph you in the snow.

Otherwise, Britt Anderson Photography slows down for the winter
regroups for the new year and starts planning out some great ideas for 2013.

Almost as Good as Sports Center | Lake County Engagement Photographer

Engagements are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. Something about love, together forever….is pretty darn awesome.

However, engagement photo sessions aren’t exactly on the top priority list for many guys…..most down right dislike it.
Now, I am pretty lucky, the guys I have photographed have been awesome…polite, willing….understanding that the sooner we get it over with, the sooner he will have done his duty and can get on with life.

The first time I scheduled this session, we had to cancel.

See, Todd got tickets to a Bears game on the day we had scheduled….do you really think I wanted to be the one to tell this guy, “no, you can’t go to the game, you need to come get your portraits done instead.”

Yeah, right. Luckily, I am a big football fan, and a HUGE Bears fan.
I understood.

So we rescheduled.
Todd and Maria were amazing!
We met up at Busse Woods for a gorgeous day, great weather, and beautiful light.

Now, the best compliment came after the session when Maria emailed me

Hi Britt,

We had a great time on Saturday. Okay, maybe Todd would have been happier watching Sports Center, but when we got in the car he said, “That wasn’t so bad. I think we will have some nice pictures to choose from.”

It was great to meet you and thank you so much. We are very excited to see how things turn out!
