After photographing Brandon for his Senior Portraits, we were able to get some of the entire family in their backyard along the lake.

As we were making plans to photograph this new family of three, the rest of the family decided to join in as well and make it an extended session! I love these sessions, because it brings together everyone…for portraits that probably haven’t happened for years.
There is no time like the present to get everyone together for family portraits that you will treasure a lifetime!
We met up at Independence Grove in Libertyville, which is fantastic for family portraits…a lot of great space, and a fantastic playground to end up at (and hold up as a bribe for good picture taking behavior!).
Oh, and if you are wondering how to get GREAT smiles, say these magic words….

A few weeks ago I hinted on my Facebook page and on the blog about a pretty cool commercial assignment I had.
So unless you were born after 1985 and have never heard of football, hopefully you guessed correctly.
I got to photograph Da Coach himself, Mike Ditka, along with his adorable grandsons for a new clothing line, Ditka Kids Gridiron Clothing.
It was a quick shoot, the Coach is a busy man!

Obviously, I can’t be the one to make this precious announcement, so I had to wait until Mommy and Daddy did it first!
Baby #3 is on the way!!!
This is so exciting, I have known Jessica since we were teachers back in the day. I was so excited when she told me the news and decided to do the whole maternity/newborn thing this time around. So I can’t wait…just a few more months and we can do some maternity shots (and yes, she is one of the most adorable pregnant chicks you will ever see!).
