I have met Mr. M before….and he was never this serious. As a matter of fact, he was one of the smiliest newborns I had every photographed! So It was quite a surprise to see him for his 4 month session in Savannah with the most serious look planted square on that mug of his!

This time it was just mom and grandma, dad is a Ranger and couldn’t be in town for this session…but we will get new family portraits in October when I make my way back to Savannah. Mom was just as beautiful as she was when I photographed her maternity session.

I connected with this family through a very generous sister! The husband’s sister purchased a gift certificate for this gorgeous family to have portraits done when they moved to the Savannah area earlier this year.

With a new baby, a new house, we finally were able to connect in Forsyth Park on a perfect day for family portraits. Their three month old little girl was as sweet as could be….and like most babies this age, she certainly loved having that fist in her mouth! Luckily we managed to get a few smiles from her without her hand blocking that sweet face.

I hope they enjoy their new home here in Savannah as much as I do!

Updates and Excitement

As we start off a new year and the excitement of he holidays die down, I get a chance to take a breather and look ahead.
What will the new year bring for Britt Anderson Photography?

One of my favorite things to do is look through all of my client images to see what I will be adding to my website portfolio. It is always so hard to choose, because with every session you can hear me say, “oh, I love that one!”…”oh wait, no I love THAT one!” But it also gives me a chance to relive those moments with clients, making each one unique and fun.

So that is what you will start seeing in the next couple weeks. New photographs in my portfolio.

You will also start seeing new product guides. This will be a true labor of love. My goal for 2011 is to get more portraits up on client’s walls. Many times it is hard to imagine a large print on your wall. Heck, before I became a photographer big was an 8×10. But I plan on showing you why your family should be filling up your walls and I will be showing you how to do it. With this in mind, I have also restructured my pricing to allow for fantastic savings on wall galleries.

And, because I have a hard time posting without including a picture, here you go.

Ahhhh…another year under our belts! We’ve laughed….we’ve cried….oh, who am I kidding, this year has been fantastic!

I have far surpassed my goals for Britt Anderson Photography this year. I have built a solid client base, and continue to meet great new people. My goal of building my senior and engagement portfolio has been exciting. I have continued to photograph some of THE most adorable children and families in the Savannah and Hilton Head area. I hope to meet more new mommies and daddies next year as I photograph their growing bellies and their precious little newborns.

I am thankful for all of my clients who trust me to capture those fleeting moments in their lives. I am thankful they come back again and again. I am thankful for my clients who spread the word about me. This is what I build my business on…..and I thank you.

I look forward to meeting new faces next year, as I continue to service my current clients with the high quality services and products you expect. I look forward to some incredible new offerings next year. You will see new products and a great new addition of wall galleries. Wall galleries are PERFECT for those of you who say, I don’t know what to do with these pictures after I get them! Your portraits shouldn’t be left sitting on a hard drive. Your portraits shouldn’t be left as a 4×6 in a drawer. Your portraits should be the art that adorns your walls. Your portraits should be what everyone ooh’s and ahh’s over when they walk in your home. I am going to work harder to make that happen for you.

So here is to a great new year! I hope I get the chance to work with you soon.

Non Stop | Savannah, GA Family Photographer

This family session was almost postponed due to sickness….although after meeting these two little girls, you would never know they had ever been sick! They showed up with big smiles on their face and movement in their feet! The younger daughter wanted nothing more than to run….run….run! Mom made a deal with her older daughter, she could wear her boots if she wore this dress. Is this not the most awesome outfit ever! I wanted her boots after seeing them.

We did manage to pin them down a couple times for smiles, and boy did we win out!
