I was excited to get this little girl on her own. I photographed this gorgeous family a couple months ago, but now Miss H was ONE! and she deserved a session all on her own.

Like most one year olds, she wanted to explore, explore, explore. How cute are those sunglasses???

We met up at the Bamboo Farm & Coastal Gardens and let Miss H explore the gorgeous grounds.

Mr. C was my first baby planner after moving to Georgia. I photographed his momma for my first maternity session. I then photographed him as a newborn, as a four month old, an eight month old and finally at the big 1. I will post some of my favs from that session soon…but I had to show the final product of our dog series.

For those of you who are “dog people”, you understand how much your dogs are a part of your family. Perry and Lucy were the perfect addition to this series to show how big Mr. C is getting!

Playing Catch Up

Usually the new year allows me a chance to catch up, update my portfolio (will that ever get done?) and plan my year. Little did I know, babies are all the rage right now! So I have been finishing up baby plans from the last year, and starting new ones! I will be posting sneak peeks soon, I promise!

Couple housekeeping items….

Updates and Excitement

As we start off a new year and the excitement of he holidays die down, I get a chance to take a breather and look ahead.
What will the new year bring for Britt Anderson Photography?

One of my favorite things to do is look through all of my client images to see what I will be adding to my website portfolio. It is always so hard to choose, because with every session you can hear me say, “oh, I love that one!”…”oh wait, no I love THAT one!” But it also gives me a chance to relive those moments with clients, making each one unique and fun.

So that is what you will start seeing in the next couple weeks. New photographs in my portfolio.

You will also start seeing new product guides. This will be a true labor of love. My goal for 2011 is to get more portraits up on client’s walls. Many times it is hard to imagine a large print on your wall. Heck, before I became a photographer big was an 8×10. But I plan on showing you why your family should be filling up your walls and I will be showing you how to do it. With this in mind, I have also restructured my pricing to allow for fantastic savings on wall galleries.

And, because I have a hard time posting without including a picture, here you go.

Ahhhh…another year under our belts! We’ve laughed….we’ve cried….oh, who am I kidding, this year has been fantastic!

I have far surpassed my goals for Britt Anderson Photography this year. I have built a solid client base, and continue to meet great new people. My goal of building my senior and engagement portfolio has been exciting. I have continued to photograph some of THE most adorable children and families in the Savannah and Hilton Head area. I hope to meet more new mommies and daddies next year as I photograph their growing bellies and their precious little newborns.

I am thankful for all of my clients who trust me to capture those fleeting moments in their lives. I am thankful they come back again and again. I am thankful for my clients who spread the word about me. This is what I build my business on…..and I thank you.

I look forward to meeting new faces next year, as I continue to service my current clients with the high quality services and products you expect. I look forward to some incredible new offerings next year. You will see new products and a great new addition of wall galleries. Wall galleries are PERFECT for those of you who say, I don’t know what to do with these pictures after I get them! Your portraits shouldn’t be left sitting on a hard drive. Your portraits shouldn’t be left as a 4×6 in a drawer. Your portraits should be the art that adorns your walls. Your portraits should be what everyone ooh’s and ahh’s over when they walk in your home. I am going to work harder to make that happen for you.

So here is to a great new year! I hope I get the chance to work with you soon.
