I was excited about this session…I don’t get a chance to photograph older children as much. I am sure a lot of it has to do with school aged kids getting pictures taken through school….time gets away from parents….older kids not really wanting to stand around saying cheese for an hour. Since it has been a year or so since my teaching days, I miss the interaction.

Well, the E kids did not disappoint me…I got to tell the oldest all about the earwig problem I am having at home…eeew. The youngest wanted so bad to get some of her climbing in a tree. And the middle one…well, he was being the typical middle child, hamming it up for me. Even with a heat index of over a 100, we managed to have some fun.

Here is a sneak peek! We enjoyed our time at Forsyth Park in Savannah. We were very tempted to jump in the fountain too!

This was a last minute session…not due to any kind of poor planning, but because Daddy is scheduled to leave for Iraq tomorrow! What a fantastic sacrifice the military makes for us, and since moving to Savannah, I have seen first hand how these sacrifices effect the families left behind. As this family prepares for another period of time apart, we snuck in a session before Daddy leaves. God bless this family and keep Daddy safe!
