Location, Location, Location {Savannah Photographer}

At least once a week, my daughter and I like going to Downtown City (ie. Savannah, GA). We try and walk around to new places, go to a new store, see a new square. Inevitably we end up on the River, Annika’s favorite place.

We went through some back alley’s to check out some new locations for some upcoming shoots, and it just reminded me why I love working in Savannah! I can shoot in beautiful parks, gorgeous beaches, and funky urban back alleys…..all in the same town!

Now…while I love my daughter, and thinks she looks down right adorable…I would LOVE to find some new clients to photograph against this incredible backdrop. I am looking for seniors or couples who are looking for some fun, urban shoots downtown. If you are up for it, give me a call or drop me a line and we will talk of a sweet deal!

A Year in Review {Savannah Photographer}

I meant to post this yesterday…being the official start to the new year, but I wasn’t quite ready. I had to go through and find my favorite shots of 2009. This was tough…I started out trying to find my top ten….but I just couldn’t do it…so I did my top 15. So here they are, in no particular order!

This is Henry, an adorable newborn.

This goes against my portrait selections, but it was one of my first Savannah photographs I took when I moved to Georgia.

Here is a senior I photographed with fellow photographers in downtown Savannah on the River.

Here is Miss Savannah again! Look at those eyes….swoon.

Miss Delia was turning one…and had the most adorable cheeks!

This family wanted some shots before Daddy was deployed…but how could I not show this cutie in his overalls?

I loved this family…the older boy was so polite and the younger one had so much energy…a good pair

These two were two of the most well behaved youngsters I have ever met! I wish this three year old could teach my three year old how she does it!

My latest maternity…I want to look that good, and I am not even expecting!

Gorgeous Senior {Savannah Senior Photographer}

This gorgeous senior…believe it or not…was once my Kindergarten student! My first year teaching I had Samantha in my class. She was so smart, so kind, and just adorable. 12 years later, with the start of the social networking site Facebook, I reconnected with Samantha. I couldn’t believe I was seeing the same 6 year old girl all grown up! Even though I had moved a thousand miles from IL, I knew once I was back in town I would have to photograph this beauty.

I just love seniors! They are so much fun and it helps me keep in touch with what is cool these days

Richmond Hill Senior ~ Savannah Photographer

I was so lucky to connect with a fellow Savannah photographer recently, and she invited this stunning Richmond Hill senior to photograph. While I enjoy so many aspects of photography, high school seniors have to be a favorite. It does help that they will listen to you a bit more than a toddler! Not to mention, I get to use the fantastic backdrop that is Savannah to highlight my photographs.

This was one of those sessions where I have a hard time picking a favorite! So I have made this session my Featured Session! Check the complete session out in the gallery section.
