Last month you got to see my 10 favs from my trip back to Savannah. Before that, it was a day in the life of Miss Thing.

I got a macro lens (yes, the kind that lets you get REEEEAAALLY close) a few years ago. It is great for those close up of newborns too! But all in all, it is a great fun lens to have and mess around with. Another great reason to love spring…many macro opportunities in the garden! Before I moved to Savannah, it would have been at least two months before I could do this kind of photography…have I mentioned I love living here? :)

These aren’t the usual bright, cheerful spring flowers you are thinking of…after a bit of playing, they are a bit moodier, darker.
