When your children become adults, it gets difficult to find time for a family portrait. So when you are finally all together, you head to Libertyville for some family portraits!

One of my favorite Pregnancy Announcement shoots was featured on Tiny Prints the other day! How cool right?

We had been planning this session for a couple months…we even had to reschedule because of all the rain we recently got. Thank goodness we did, because the day we chose ended up being gorgeous! We met up at Fort Sheridan in Highland Park and walked around the paths a bit.
Andrea is very persuasive. She initially contacted me about doing engagement portraits as well as to photograph her wedding. I told her I would love to do her engagement portraits, but that I didn’t photograph weddings. She said she wanted to meet me anyway. Well, after meeting her and Michael, I knew I was doomed. She convinced me that I could, that I SHOULD photograph her wedding.
This couple was amazing. We did their engagement session in downtown Chicago and got to know one another. I was ready for the big day in April at The Shores of Turtle Creek in Spring Grove. It was an absolute gorgeous day, the temperature was perfect, the skies were perfect…everything.
Which is why I can happily say I am going out on top! This will be my one and only wedding 🙂
It has been two years since the last time I photographed this family…the first time I photographed them was two years before that in Hilton Head, SC. I just love this family, the kids are so much fun. It has been amazing watching them grow.
Check out how little they were in Hilton Head, and then from two years ago in Grayslake.
